A great downtown Vegas history lesson, which included walking through several hotels/casinos along the length of the Fremont ‘canopy’ and ended in the Downtown Container Park. Recommendations for other Downtown places to visit, and reasonably priced places to eat and drink were also included.

Where it all Began - Highly recommended!! - I had an amazing tour, and my guide, Kelly, was absolutely incredible. He shared fascinating historical insights - where it all started, fun facts, and a great perspective on the... read more city’s current vibe. Since July can be scorching hot (it hit 44°C during my tour!), Kelly made sure I stayed in the shade as much as possible — something I really appreciated.
At the end of the tour, he even gave me a list of recommended local restaurants, which was a nice touch. My only regret? Taking this tour on my last day in Las Vegas! I highly recommend doing this tour at the beginning of your trip — it’s a perfect way to get oriented and discover the best spots to explore later. Also Downtown is a fantastic area to stay in and budget friendly - There is great connectivity between Downtown and the current LA strip.Nitasha R

It is very hot in June so definitely recommend hat, sunscreen, water, etc. but our guide was very careful to keep us in the shade as much as possible so it didn’t feel like a death march the last few blocks. I got the impression Kelly knew even more than he told us about. Really fantastic tour.

He has little radio ear-pieces that he gives to everyone so that we can hear him no matter where we are and it has adjustable volume too. He also had pictures, of which some he even took himself, of old Las Vegas or how buildings have changed in recent years. Even if this wasn't the first thing we experienced on our trip, my husband and I much preferred learning about Fremont Street this way than exploring it on our own.
