  Interesting and Informative - This tour had been recommended to us. My husband and I (both in our early 60's) really enjoyed our walking tour of the Fremont Street area with Kelly, our guide.... read more We were given headsets with earphones so that we could easily follow Kelly's commentary and listen to his interesting stories and history of downtown Las Vegas. The 2 hours went quickly and finished at the Downtown Container Park where Kelly gave us a list of recommendations of where to eat in the area. We decided to go to Bin 702 which was inside the Container Park. We had a Lobster Grilled Cheese Sandwich and washed it down with a beer and a frozen rosé. Yum!

A great downtown Vegas history lesson, which included walking through several hotels/casinos along the length of the Fremont ‘canopy’ and ended in the Downtown Container Park. Recommendations for other Downtown places to visit, and reasonably priced places to eat and drink were also included.

He shared fascinating historical insights - where it all started, fun facts, and a great perspective on the... read more city’s current vibe. Since July can be scorching hot (it hit 44°C during my tour!), Kelly made sure I stayed in the shade as much as possible — something I really appreciated.

At the end of the tour, he even gave me a list of recommended local restaurants, which was a nice touch. My only regret? Taking this tour on my last day in Las Vegas! I highly recommend doing this tour at the beginning of your trip — it’s a perfect way to get oriented and discover the best spots to explore later. Also Downtown is a fantastic area to stay in and budget friendly - There is great connectivity between Downtown and the current LA strip.
